Fluvoxamine tablet is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor that is selective (SSRI). This drug works by restoring the balance of a natural molecule in the brain called serotonin. Ensure you read all drug guides or instruction sheets and follow all guidelines on your prescription label. However, your doctor may adjust your dose from time to time. Fluvoxamine can be taken with or without food at bedtime. The dosage is determined by your medical condition, treatment response, age, and any other medications you are taking. Do not raise your dosage or take Fluvoxamine tablet more frequently or for longer than recommended. Your condition will not improve any faster, and you will be more susceptible to negative effects. To receive the best benefit from this drug, take it on a daily basis. Even if you feel okay, keep taking this medication. Do not stop using this drug without first visiting your doctor. If you have new or worsening depression or anxiety, panic attacks, difficulties sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, angry, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, more energetic or talkative, or if you have thoughts about suicide or harming yourself, call your doctor straight away.
